Perranuthnoe and beyond

Perranuthnoe is a small Cornish seaside village. The small cottages, beautiful view and spectacular beach are popular with both locals and holiday makers who frequently return year after year to this unique part of Cornwall.

Lynfield Farm Craft Centre, once Lynfield Yard, where Gramps milked his herd of Jerseys and Guernseys, is now a hub for unique local businesses. We have a few galleries/studios for local artists, 'Linen and Clay' is definitely worth popping into for beautiful gifts and wares, The Peppercorn Kitchen Cafe, now run by Nicki and Babs has a friendly, family atmosphere, especially when you can enjoy the scrumptious food, including (in my opinion) Cornwall's best ice cream from Roskilly's Farm, sat outside in the sunshine.

The well known and highly acclaimed Victoria Inn is a 2 minute walk from the cottage. It is perfect for a special meal, a yummy lunch or a traditional pub drink. You are sure to be greeted with excellent service, wonderful food and a warm welcome.

With quick access onto the A30 and A394 just at the top of the lane visiting any of the attractions Cornwall has to offer is easy. The Minack Theatre and the wild walks of West Cornwall are less than 30 minutes away. The stunning St. Michael's Mount, just off Marazion is less than 10 minutes by car. St. Ives can be easily accessed during the summer by taking the park and ride train from Lelant Saltings, so avoiding the parking chaos and also to enjoy one of Britain's most picturesque train rides. The Tate Gallery, Barbara Hepworth Museum, harbour and lovely shops can all be found in St. Ives. The popular waterside town of Falmouth, with The National Maritime Museum (perfect for a wet day), shops and a vast range of boats is a 40 minute drive.

Surely, however, the best thing about a holiday in Perranuthnoe is that you can arrive happily at The Vineyard, park your car easily in your own spaces and not leave this special village for several days; a wonderful beach, unspoilt countryside, breath-taking coastal walks and some of Cornwall's best food - just perfect!
